Dance with Plants

Dance with plants is a format where we explore movement practices in collaboration with plants and the larger environment. Dance functions here as an entry point for connecting with and entering playfully into conversation with plants and the subtle frequencies of the land. Different modes of listening are getting explored and inspiration is found in movement patterns of eco-systems.
Empathy and aw function as portals to embodied connection – fine tuning our awareness.
Knowledge creation is experienced as a co-creative process that evolves with and through our relationships.
Relational knowing becomes an art in itself.

We play with questions such as: Can my body become a loudspeaker for the plant’s expression?

What is happening in the resonant field between my body and a herbal plant?

The movement lab takes different forms and is accessible for all kinds of ages.
The kids version has a different design than the one for adults and emphasizes even more a haptic exploration between body and larger ecologies, involving nature materials, eco-printing and dye.
