Halb Baum, Halb Mensch, Halb Fisch
Performance Project by Manuel Lindner
A somatic encounter between three vocal bodies and a web of bark. Three performers follow the minute, invisible but audible movements of the voice. The voice becomes a medium for touch, encounter and the experience of resonance between human and more-than-human realms. Multiple ways of perceiving our interconnectedness open up and diverse stories emerge in the permeable fabric of bark and skin.
The performance is a subtle form of protest against the rationalist, efficient demands of our present times and invites the audience into a multi-sensory experience.
„Our bodies have reasons that we need to learn, rediscover, reinvent. We need to listen to their language as the path to our health and healing, as we need to listen to the language and rhythms of the natural world as the path to the health and healing of the earth.” Silvia Federici
