
Frederike Doffin works as a freelance artist and educator at the intersection of dance, performance art, shiatsu and ecological research. She is interested in the interweaving of socio-ecological issues with artistic practices and creates performative formats that invite an immersive sensory experience.
Frederike holds a Master’s degree in Movement, Mind and Ecology from Schumacher College/Plymouth University and a Bachelor’s degree in Dance, Context, Choreography from the University of the Arts Berlin. She creates her own works and collaborates, among others with the artists Manuel Lindner, Rabih Mroué, Isabelle Schad, Claudia Tomasi, Isabel Lewis and Margrét Sara Guðjónsdóttir in venues including the Martin Gropius Bau and Hebbel am Ufer Theater Berlin.
Frederike facilitates workshops as a freelancer at institutions such as the University of the Arts Groningen, Schumacher College (UK), in urban gardens and assisted living facilities.
She continuously explores how artistic practice create spaces for connection and collective transformation.
